Vacheron Constantin’s Métier d’Arville Lumière Fake Watches

Introducing Vacheron Constantin’s new Métiers d’Art collection. In this Métiers d’Art collection, replica Vacheron Constantin travels to cities filled with creativity at night. Colorful light enamel powder was applied on the dark-colored enamel dial, reminiscent of a shadow, to express the ‘light’ emanating from the city at night.

In the Métiers d’Art Villes Lumières collection, Vacheron Constantin artisans combined the Grand Feu Champlevé enamelling technique with hand-applied enamel powder. This technique, which adds luster to enamel by extracting powder particles from precious materials such as gold, pearls, platinum, and diamonds, is being applied for the first time in watchmaking. This light expresses roads, rivers, landmarks, etc., creating a vast and majestic cityscape. The areas within the city and even the headlights of vehicles moving on the road were beautifully depicted using various lights.
The first model focuses on Geneva, Vacheron Constantin’s hometown(!). This is also where cabinotier originated.
Next is Paris, nicknamed the “City of Light.” You can enjoy a view of Place Etoile, the Champs Elysees, the Seine River, and the Eiffel Tower from above.
The last one is New York, the city that never sleeps. The outline of Manhattan, including Central Park, the Hudson River, and Brooklyn, is beautifully expressed with sparkling powder.
Vacheron Constantin invited Japanese artist Yoko Imai to combine her artistry with that of an enamelling artisan. She further developed her own artistic techniques, painting her inspired paintings from her calligraphy onto her canvases, and she created her own working process for the first time for Vacheron Constantin. Instead of her canvas, she applied it to fake watches dial enamel. She displayed a high degree of concentration and faithfully depicted the city lights.
The powder technique, derived from calligraphy, first uses small pieces of gold as a background. Diamond and platinum powder are then applied successively to create an even more sparkling effect. Powder particles are applied using a technique that is still a closely guarded secret, and the angle and size are adjusted to create various brightnesses. These different colored powders interact on the dark Grand Feu enamel dial background to create an even more dramatic effect. This light is most intense in the center of the dial and gradually becomes softer towards the edges.

Vacheron Constantin’s enamelers applied the champlevé enamel technique to each dial to highlight the shapes of roads, parks, and rivers. The process involves carving out a motif along the contour on the surface of the gold dial and applying several layers of translucent enamel, which requires infinite patience and requires baking each application in a kiln at a temperature of 850°C. Of course, in addition to patience, the craftsman’s intuition gained from age and experience also plays an important role.
It is no exaggeration to say that each dial, completed after a work process of more than three months, is a unique piece.

The Métiers d’Art Villers Lumière, which received the Geneva Hallmark certification, is equipped with Vacheron Constantin’s in-house automatic caliber Caliber 2460 SC, and has only very simple functions such as hours, minutes, and seconds, making the picture(!) on the dial even more intense. It really catches the eye. The 22K gold rotor, which can be seen through the transparent case back, was inspired by the brand’s signature emblem, the Maltese cross, and every corner of the movement has been given exquisite finishing that is typical of traditional fine watchmaking. This new Métiers d’Art collection also adheres to Vacheron Constantin’s pure tradition.
