Breitling has released the smallest size of its women’s Chronomat series. Following the existing Chronomat 42, 40, 38, 36, and 32, the 28mm size is eye-catching.
Just looking at the fact that Audemars Piguet released the Royal Oak Mini, the smallest at 23mm, this year, the watch industry is currently experiencing a strong downsizing trend, and not only men’s watches but also women’s watches are becoming smaller again, like the products of the 1970s and 1980s. On the one hand, it can be seen that they are trying to provide more diverse choices to young female customers by adding other size variations without giving up the existing size. In particular, Breitling replica is a representative brand that has strengthened its women’s watch portfolio the most fiercely over the past few years.
Commenting on the launch of the new Chronomat 28, Breitling CEO Georges Kern said: “The Chronomat, a Breitling classic, is a watch that embodies the spirit of adventure and unwavering confidence in every situation. An elegant and versatile multi-purpose replica watches that is comfortable to wear, it is a true timepiece that expresses one’s own style.”
The Chronomat 28 is available in four variations, from a stainless steel case and bracelet model, a model with a diamond-set bezel, and a two-tone model using steel and red gold. The case has a diameter of 28 mm and a thickness of 8.46 mm, making it the slimmest Chronomat model ever released. All models are water-resistant to a practical 100 m, and the movement is the high-precision SuperQuartz Caliber 72, which has a temperature compensation function and is certified by the Swiss Official Chronometer Institute (COSC).
The fixed bezel is not without the Rider Tabs, which are the collection’s signature decoration. Among the four versions, the version with the black mother-of-pearl dial and the two-tone case has a row of lab-grown diamonds set on the bezel. Breitling began actively using lab-grown diamonds starting with the Super Chronomat Automatic 38 Origin announced in 2022. It uses only the highest quality synthetic diamonds manufactured and cut by Fenix Diamonds, headquartered in New York, USA, and has even received SCS-007-1 sustainable grade diamond standard certification, which is transparently disclosed through an online source map.
By the way, the Chronomat 28 uses a dial made of mother-of-pearl material like all models. The mother-of-pearl dials come in four colors: blue, pink, black, and white. Twelve top-quality lab-grown diamonds are set in place of hour markers. The center of the hands indicating the hours and minutes is coated with a special luminous paint, Super-LumiNova. All models are attached to the bracelet, which is, without fail, the symbol of the Chronomat collection, the Rouleaux bracelet (or Roll bracelet).
The domestic launch prices of the new Chronomat 28 are the same at 6.28 million won for the blue mother-of-pearl version (Ref. A72310101C1A1) and the pink mother-of-pearl version (Ref. A72310101K1A1), 9.49 million won for the black mother-of-pearl version (Ref. A72310531G1A1), and 13.87 million won for the white mother-of-pearl two-tone case version (Ref. U72310531A1U1).
